Beyondverse Battle Ground
Beyondverse Battle Ground (aka) BBG
General Game Mechanics
This section provides an overview of the general game mechanics for the initial game release on Hidden Beyond: Beyondverse Battle Ground.
Battle Ground Overview
The Battle Ground game is a multiplayer online shooting game that serves as the first gaming experience launched on the Beyondverse. Matches accommodate between 50 to 100 players, with players starting with little to no equipment. The match types vary, including solo and squad options. Players must collect equipment throughout the match and strive to survive.
Players with property in the Hidden Beyond metaverse have an advantage, as they can unlock private weapon cases and access stored weapons.
Match Area and Zones
The game begins within a 4-square-kilometer circular area, randomly generated within the Beyondverse map. This circle shrinks at predetermined intervals, forcing players to remain within the circle to survive. The circle continues to shrink until it reaches a point where players can no longer stand inside it. To win the match, players must eliminate opponents and be the last person standing inside the circle.
Types of Matches
Several match types are available in the Battle Ground game, catering to various player preferences:
Solo Match: A free-for-all matches accommodating up to 50 players.
Squad Match: A team-based match with up to 100 players, divided into squads.
Team Death Match: A smaller-scale team-based match with a maximum of 16 players.
Eliminator: An unique Play-and-Earm match type for up to 50 players, focusing on the elimination of opponents until the token balance liquidates and forces them to exit the match.
By offering a variety of match types, Hidden Beyond ensures a diverse and engaging gaming experience for all players within the Beyondverse.
Gameplay Instructions
In-Game Economy
The metaverse operates using the $BND token and in-game cash. In-game transactions and gameplay utilize the in-game cash (MC token), which can be swapped for $BND tokens on the player's profile. The MC token's value maintains a 100:1 ratio with the $BND token, i.e., 1 BND token = 100 MC tokens.
Tournament Match and Entry Fees
The whole game is Free-to-Play with an additional paid match through tournaments for the Battle Ground for big rewards. Players should load the MC tokens before entering the tournament. For illustration purposes, we'll assume a player loads 100 MC tokens and wants to play Eliminator Tournament. Inside the match, when the player kills an enemy, he/she gets 8 MC tokens and if they get killed, they lose 10 MC tokens. The player can stay inside the match as much as they want or until the loaded MC tokens balance liquidates.
Battle Ground Game (Free-to-Play)
Players begin with no equipment such as weapons, vests, or MediKits. They must quickly find and equip available items, including weapons, grenades, kits, and health drinks. The initial safe zone size depends on the match type and shrinks periodically, forcing players to stay within the ever-decreasing area.
The safe zone model is structured as follows:
SZ1: 2 x 2 km (or larger, depending on match type)
SZ2: 1 x 1 km (after 5 minutes)
SZ3: 0.5 x 0.5 km (after 3 minutes)
SZ4: 0.25 x 0.25 km (after 2 minutes)
Further reductions continue until only one player remains.
Earnings and Rewards
Based on the Game Mode, the earnings in the game differs and depend on the number of kills a player achieves. For example, in a 10 MC token entry fee match, a player receives 8 MC tokens for each kill. If the player is killed, they lose the 10 MC token entry fee. Earnings are calculated as follows:
*WGK: When Gets Killed in the match
This formula applies to all tournament's game modes.
Players get to have a random mystery box after winning a match. The mystery box holds a range of in-game items, varying from basic to legendary items, which the player gets a chance to own it.
Items Distribution Inside The Game
Weapons, gear, and other items are randomly distributed throughout the map. Players who own land or property in the metaverse have the added advantage of pre-loading equipment on their land. This equipment can only be accessed if the safe zone encompasses the owned land or property.
After acquiring the necessary weapons and kits, players hunt down enemies. They can also pick up weapons and skins from eliminated opponents, which can only be used within that specific match. To permanently own skins, players must purchase them in the marketplace (if another owner sells them) or win them through a mystery box.
